Application

To Report a Lost or Stolen ATM / Debit Card:

  1. To report the card lost or stolen, call Shazam at 1-800-383-8000.
  2. To cancel your card, Contact First National Bank via email or call 319-352-1340 (800-369-3629). If the bank is closed, please leave your name and phone number. A bank representative will return your call as promptly as possible.
  3. Verify your account transactions with a First National Bank Representative.
  4. A bank representative will process application for a replacement card.

CD-ROM Statement Delivery means receiving your bank statements, images of your checks and deposit tickets as well as deposited items on a CD Rom. You will be able to view statements and images in your home or office on your personal computer.

Overdraft Privilege: At times, unanticipated expenses or unforeseen problems can leave you with too little cash in your checking account. Having a check returned due to insufficient funds can be a costly, inconvenient and potentially embarrassing experience. At First National Bank, we do not encourage overdrafts. As always, we encourage customers to manage finances responsibly. However, we want to save you from the additional merchant fees and possible damage to your credit history that might result in a check is returned. That’s’ why we provide “Overdraft Privilege”, a special overdraft service for First National Bank’s checking customers. Ask a personal banker for details.

Reserve Checking Line of Credit is a service that means the end to checking account overdraft issues and charges. You will have a pre-approved, unsecured loan in place that will advance when necessary to keep your checking account in a positive balance.

Money Orders and Cashiers Checks are available at all First National Bank locations. Cashiers checks are required for amounts exceeding $300.00. The Cashiers checks need to include a payee and remitter. Fees may apply.

Night Depositories are located in all locations. A key is required for large deposit bags.

VISA TravelMoney® is an instantly available travel card that can be loaded with US Dollars. The card can be used immediately to access travel funds. (Visa Gift Cards® also available)

Cash Advances can be done at all FNB offices. Identification is required. Fees may apply.

Safe Deposit Boxes* are offered at three locations: Cedar Falls Downtown Office, Plainfield Office, and the Waverly Downtown Office. They are rented on a yearly basis. Costing $9.00 - $70.00 paid annually, these boxes are a safe place to keep important things.

Stop Payments can be made by contacting account processing to create a stop payment on a check or automatic debit. A fee will apply.

Bank By Mail is made easier when we provide bank-by-mail envelopes to our customers in order to send their deposits or loan payments through the mail.

Automatic Transfer or ACH is a service we provide which allows our customers to set up automatic deposits and withdrawals to their account.

Wire Service is provided for customers who come into to the bank to execute a wire transfer or sign up for calling in a repetitive wire. Information needed for a wire includes the receiving bank’s routing number or ABA number and the receiving party’s account number. The address of the receiving party is needed if the wire amount is $3000.00 or more.

Notary Services are offered to all our customers. Notarization is the act of witnessing by the Notary Public in accordance with specifications of state law. Notarization involves signed documents and requires the Notary to ensure the signer’s identity and willingness to sign.
