Commercial Banking Officer

First National Bank is a progressive community bank in the Cedar Valley with 5 locations. We are seeking a career minded individual to fill the position of Commercial Lender in our Cedar Falls, IA office. This individual will be responsible for developing new business as well as working with an existing loan portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of commercial lending experience, a finance or accounting degree, excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong desire to be involved in the community.

Operations Specialist


An Operations Specialist position is available at First National Bank in Waverly, IA. This person will provide financial support, vendor management and project management duties for the company.  This would include such items as investing in Fed Funds, authorizing the banks accounts payable, managing correspondent bank accounts, evaluating vendors, special projects, and researching alternative products.


Requirements: a 4 year degree in accounting or finance or equivalent banking experience.

Home Depot has announced a security breach that has potentially compromised customer names along with debit or credit card information of card holders that made purchases at Home Depot since April 2014. Home Depot is recommending to customers who shopped in U.S. and Canadian stores to monitor their accounts for any suspicious or unusual activity.
